Stewarding Teams: Who is on Your Team?

A director must provide three essential elements:

1. Vision

• Blueprints from the Lord about your department.
• Aligning with the church’s vision.
• "And the LORD answered me: ‘Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.’" (Habakkuk 2:2)

2. Trust

• Trust is essential for leading down (serve team).
• Trust is equally important for leading up (other teams, pastors).

3. Communication

• Slow down today so we can move faster tomorrow.

Three Tools Needed to Steward Services

1. Service Order
   • Do you know where you’re going?
2. Content
   • Do you have everything you need from each participant?
3. Equipment
   • Is everything working properly to capture the service effectively?
