- God’s grace will empower you to steward all His gifts.
- As senior lead pastors leading presence-driven churches, we are called to be stewards of God’s house and God’s people.
- We can only do this effectively if we listen to God’s Spirit.
Value: Stewardship | The Third Option
- We manage Heaven’s resources for the Father’s business.
- The heart’s cry of a good steward is:“It will never be mine; it will always be Yours!”
- When given the choice between ownership or employment mentality, we choose the third option—stewardship.
Truth About Stewardship:
- A steward is not the owner; we don’t make the final decisions—God does.
- Definition: A steward is one who is entrusted with the responsibility of another.
- Good stewardship begins and ends with inquiring of the Lord for His heart and mind.
- A poor steward is a poor listener.
Reflection:
- Are you listening to God for what He has entrusted to you, or are you just making decisions?
- Stewarding presence-driven churches means stewarding ALL the gifts God has given—even the ones we are uncomfortable with.
Three Reasons We Do Not Steward All the Gifts
